So far Coachella still wins even though I know this is not the full lineup or if its an actual lineup if that.
I kind of want to go to this.
this is an incredible lineup.
…. is this real?
The line up isnt even announced until Feb 2nd.
this is lineup for all points west HAH yea right…i wish it was
I’ve heard a couple of these announced, if disco and sts9’s gonna be there we need some umphreys, some new deal, wide spread. Get the jam back into the festival, not jay z – who cares about jay z. There is so much better music than jay z out there
eh
works for me!!!
this isn’t a real lineup at all people, a few have these have been pretty much confirmed like ingrid michaelson and dan deacon……the headliners have been quasi confirmed kings of leon stevie wonder jayz and dave…….the rest is puuuuurely speculation real lineup drops feb 2nd
GIANT FESTIVALS ARE SO COOL!
BLOWSSSSSSSS
sonic forest i totally get you now!!!!!!!
where is this info coming from its not on bonnaroos website
sts9 ok!
i love how everyone keeps saying its fake. sure, its not the “official” one and someone took a stab at it, but when a lot of these bands end up at the festival this year, i’ll be smiling because i had faith in this lineup.
Exactly. I could see most of these bands there. Give or take a few, add some in, take some out, maybe add a couple more big names. Let’s look at this list. Jay-Z, Dave, Kings of Leon and Stevie Wonder have been confirmed as headliners. More than likely they’ll add another big name for Friday night to go up against Kings of Leon (they’re just not going to be the biggest name on Friday night). Enter Neil Young. Neil on the What Stage, Kings on the Which. A co-headlining kind of thing. Could even be like last year where they had Beasties vs. Byrne, followed by the mainheadliner Phish. If they go this route, it would probably be Neil at 11pm, Kings on the What Stage around 8:30 or so, and probably give Arcade Fire or possibly Pavement the Byrne spot (on the Which Stage around 8:45, maybe 9). The one who doesn’t get it (Arcade Fire/Pavement) will probably close out the Which Stage on Sunday. Always a big indie name closing out the Which Stage on Sunday. Arcade Fire? Big enough, never played ‘roo, long awaited tour this year. Pavement? Big enough, one of the first and most influential indie rock bands from the 90s. Big reunion this year. They’ll probably also do a co-headlining thing on Saturday, ala Pearl Jam/Jack Johnson from 2008. That would be Jay-Z/Stevie. As for Sunday, always a headliner that caters to the jamband community. They’ve done the Panic things too many times, Phish did it last year. They’ve done people who’ve played with the Dead. Dave is the perfect fit for that. He may be mainstream but fits the jam spot well. Also, a lot of people leave the fest on Sunday, and a lot of people hate Dave (not me) so that makes a ton of sense. As for the undercard, a lot of those bands are the types ‘roo goes for, they’re also bands that are currently doing pretty well (buzz/emerging artists), some have albums/tours coming up. When the lineup actually comes out, I’ll be back to count just how many bands from this fake lineup are on the real one. My guess is at least ten, maybe twenty or more.
From this list I could see Jay-Z, Neil Young, Dave, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Pavement, Arcade Fire, String Cheese, Furthur, Franti, Phoenix, Dead Weather, New Pornographers, 311, Black Keys, Avett Bros, Blakroc, Cat Power, Spoon, Explosions, M83, The Gossip, BRMC, Ed Sharpe, Ingrid, Frusciante, Deacon, Baroness, Bingham, Gaslight, Steve Martin, Mayer Hawthorne and Noah & the Whale.
yay 311, Arcade Fire. fuck DMB.
Baroness is the only great thing on here, and kings of leaon, needs some more metal, i think
lol at 22.
yeah the obvious goal of this festival is to melt some FUCKING FACES.
16, YES!!
no mgmt at 2am… whaaaaat hopefully they get added on

@ 27, Me too. :,(
eh, Coachella’s lineup looks better.
Airline 5, Internetz 0
Brain Jonestown Massacre…fuck yeah!
to the mgmt comment, it was more like 245!!! who remembers the tornado like weather the first night last year, that was fucking crazy!!!
[...] Guess Im going:) Here ya go Alyssa:) http://strikegently.com/?p=33706 [...]
YES! 311!!!!
Wow, what a joke, Jay Z? Really, not enough good classic bands like in years past, oh well another roo I will be skippin! Thats $300 for me to spend on other shows!
This Lineup Cant be Accurate Because it has already been released that the FLAMING LIPS are Playing Dark Side of the Moon Cover to Cover. They aren’t even on this list, hopefully some of these artists will be there. Also Paul Simon is set to play from all sources.
