probably one of the best albums to come out this year and last put together … thank you so much for this …and yeah one of few that ill actually buy … Dave Grohl is a genius as are Josh Homme & John Paul Jones !! its sounds awesome and i cant wait to see them !
Grohl is perhaps the busiest rock musician out there hes god!!
it is strange, but i like it better live. i mean, i still love it…but, live its so dirty and nasty and just in your face drums and bass. on cd it so clean and guitar oriented, just disappointing to have my hopes up so high since the show and not be totally fucking blown away again like i was when it was pounding in my face. in my opinion, of course, the bass and drums are the best. grohl on drums is insane, plays like a 1000 pound gorilla behind the drums. crazy, like Moon or Bonham, and the songs are so groovy that it was constant bass in your face. and of course, John Paul Jones. i dont need to say a word. but damn, imagine the song “Elephants” pounding in your face until i thought i was going to die. it was the best thing i have ever seen! so, now i hear it on the computer and im a bit like “aawwwwwww, i remember back then.” so, my suggestion is put on “Elephants” on your home stereo but put it up to full blast, lay on the floor and pile up all the speakers on top of your face. but still, great.
