Ok seriously Owl City is the end of music. I can plug in a 75 dollar midi controller and sit in my bedroom for a half a day and reproduce exactly what he does. Does anyone youtube his live shows? He is terrible, and Charles Barkley would describe it as TURRIBLE. Audio engineers produce the same stuff as this guy does every single day they go to work in a studio. Just admit it fans. Its catchy. That is it. Not complex. Just a melody with the cheesiest lyrics possible, so that all of the fourteen year old girls and not so straight guys think its art. I am not going to lie, I bought Fireflys, it is a catchy song with a nice melody; but if anybody is going ask the critics to stop hating, you need to evaluate your musical criteria. Good Day!
