I was really impressed with the artwork.
The list…well it was a weaker year in my music tastes. If I don’t see The Gaslight Anthem in the top and a solid showing from Tokyo Police Club and The Republic of Wolves there’s something wrong. Remember when everyone was calling ROW a hipster band? Hipster bands make top 10 lists.

Very similar to Andy Helms’ Star Wars Posters, or Justin Van Genderen’s travel posters. Olly Moss kind of does the same thing, as does Ibraheem Youssef though I think the two only do movie art. At the end of the day you could just look at the website and they’d tell you it was Vahalla Studios.

There were several EXTREMELY impressive metalcore and post-hardcore albums released this year, but why would they make this list? There were too many generic indie albums to recognize, no room for other genres.Fuck music lately, seriously.

If anyone could actually read the caption above, its Myspace’s top 50 list, not SG. They’re just posting this for plenty of obvious reasons, the major one being because it hosts some pretty good artists in which case not only increases viewers but also feedback (obviously), as well as possible sales for the artists mentioned. Its a blog, that gives you free shit, on your own time and free will. Calm your fucking boners, dipshits.
